I want to keep the updates on the changing immigration laws for Cuba. Also gaining the legal knowledge lets me stay on top of what’s going on the judicial system. when I get to learn something new, I get to teach it is even better. America wants to reunite families in Cuba with their American relatives. It shows that immigration law is changing in Cuba. The suffering of Cuba is not being silenced anymore.

A bill filed on March 2, 2022, by Florida Rep Debbie Wassserman and New Jersey Rep Albio Sires would resume the Cuban Family Reunification parole program, which brings families reunited divided by a government

According to the Miami Herald, ““The Cuban people live under a brutal authoritarian regime, with little control over their fate,” Wasserman Schultz said in a statement, “so we must do all we can to offer them a path to expeditiously and legally immigrate to the United States.”

The Democrats wants to expedite the applications that add up to more than 22,000 applications for Cubans to be residents of America.

According to the Miami Herald the details of the Bill “The four-page bill, titled the “Cuban Family reunification Parole Act of 2022,” instructs the secretaries of Homeland Security and the State Department to start processing applications for the family parole program and to assign staff to the U.S Embassy in Havana from their agencies. It does not have a Senate companion bill at this point. The agency heads shall ensure that “applications for parole under the Cuban Family Reunification Parole Program that were filed before the date of the enactment of this Act have started being adjudicated not more than six months after the date” the law is enacted, the bill says.”

Cuba is being rebuilt slowly. I don’t agree with no freedom speech, officials can charge a criminal charge with due diligence. Cubans shouldn’t be afraid for their innocent protests for trying to make change. Every protestor in Cuba is a hero, they are standing together out of love. They must make a change and to do it we need to be a voice together.

According to the Miami Herald, “The trio of Florida Republicans asked President Joe Biden last month to restart consular services in Cuba, prioritizing human rights and pro-democracy activists and people with urgent medical or humanitarian needs. In the letter, they also asked for the parole program’s application processing to be resumed and warned of safety issues, including Havana syndrome, that embassy staffers could face in Cuba.”

The expedite movement of the reinstatement of the bill will change the family love, because all Cuba wants is freedom. No human deserves their freedom of speech as right to arrest.
