Biden has been trying to work on the promises Trump made to Cubans.

“It took mere hours for President Joe Biden’s announcement of new measures towards Cuba — among them, relaxing travel restrictions and lifting Trump-era limits on remittances — to stir Florida’s hornet’s nest of diaspora politics, Miami.”

“It continued on Tuesday morning, with Roberto Rodríguez-Tejera, a longtime Miami veteran radio commentator and Actualidad Radio’s morning show anchor, celebrated the administration’s actions to restart the paused Cuban Family Reunification Parole Program that could help over 100,000 families in legal limbo but blasted the rushed and sudden rollout that has been the source of anger for many Cubans in South Florida.”

“Donald Trump really spoiled the Cuban American community by making every announcement with the Cuban community an event in South Florida. And expecting a subsequent president to live up to that performance is not very likely,” said Ricardo Herrero, Cuba expert and executive director of the nonpartisan Cuba Study Group. “Having said that, this administration should absolutely engage in more robust efforts with the Cuban American community and the South Florida community as a whole.”

“For decades, the world has been traveling to Cuba and nothing has changed. For years, the United States foolishly eased travel restrictions arguing millions of American dollars would bring about freedom and nothing changed. And as I warned then, the regime ultimately laughed off any promises of loosening its iron grip on the Cuban people, and we ended up helping fund the machinery behind their continued oppression,” Menendez said in a statement. He added he was pleased to see the State Department would keep Cuba on its “Restricted List” and welcomed the restart of the Cuban Family Reunification Parole Program.

“The White House also released a statement with the announcement calling on Cuba to “immediately release political prisoners, to respect the Cuban people’s fundamental freedoms and to allow the Cuban people to determine their own futures.”

The White house and has asked for the release of the political prisoners. Miami is the voice for Cuba because considered the largest Cuban community in America. Biden has been trying to fix all promises made by Donald trump during presidency. The fight for human rights for Cuba is ongoing in America. a movement because America is fighting to save the lives of the inhumane treatment for the unfair political prisoners. Cuba has no freedom of speech and keep being threatened by officials who are considered protection for the island. The residents of Cuba and Miami have been fighting for the battle of depression, that no society needs to be treated like their voice does not matter. It is a right that a person have the right to their own decision making as opposed to walking on thin ice. That is not a way to live at all.

The political prisoners should not be incarcerated for innocently protesting for freedom in their own home.

“The Biden administration says that by allowing Americans to invest in private businesses in Cuba — a first in six decades — it’s giving the Cuban people “tools to pursue a life free from Cuban government oppression and to seek greater economic opportunities.”

Biden wants to let Cuba citizen start a independent businesses to financially help Cuba citizens. When the act has been done before and now Cuba gets involved and makes it a non-law abiding circumstance.

“When President Obama allowed Cuban Americans to do just that, and they invested, even buying properties, the Cuban government stepped in, shutting down some of the fledgling enterprises”

“Biden now has restored the family-reunification parole program and is increasing visa processing, so reestablishing regular migration channels, the saving grace to his policy announcement.

Biden is trying to correct the wrongs that Trump made by setting strict immigration rules. This caused positive impact because protesting in America has not gone unnoticed. Cuban Americans have been fighting for the freedom from Cuba dictatorship. The voice has been from Miami and known musicians who have made lyrics asking for freedom. Cuba citizens have asked for America’s help in Cuba and their voices are being heard.

Another incident where Biden didn’t properly invite Cuba to the summit of Americas taken place in Los Angeles, ca

“President Miguel Díaz-Canel said on Twitter that “under no circumstance” would he attend. His comments came after days of speculation and an attempt by the Biden administration to find a compromise that would absolve it of having to invite a “non-democratic” government — while avoiding the risk of infuriating much of Latin America.

“In addition to excluding Cuba, the administration plans to leave Nicaragua and Venezuela off the guest list. All have authoritarian governments that Washington considers to be in violation of the democratic spirit that the hemispheric conference is supposed to promote.”

“The Summit of the Americas is held every three or four years and was inaugurated in Miami in 1994, the last time that the U.S. was host. Cuba was excluded or chose not to attend most of the time until 2015, when, at the summit in Panama, Raul Castro famously met and shook hands with then-President Barack Obama, opening the way to a historic thawing of Cold War-era relations between Washington and Havana that has since backtracked under former President Donald Trump and with Biden.”

The summit is held between all the countries. The fact that Cuba was excluded in the invitation was not fair. Cuba policy doesn’t agree with the way America handles justice as opposed to an island that doesn’t have justice. I want to include when voting ballots are made and officials in Cuba will void if it does not agree with their premeditated decision. Democracy is needed and not invit9ing Cuba is not the way to start. Everyone makes mistakes but the White House is trying to help Cuba. I already released about the family reunification program that’s reopening because Trump did not follow through has begun.

Cuba deserves freedom from this depression because it is inhumane that children are incarcerated and our political heroes but physically prisoners. America taking the steps is creating change.

History is happening once Cuba is free and democracy is reached.
