The beginning of Dear Anne vs Dwayne Carter
Intellectual property law study on Dear Anne solved case series
I found out my favorite rapper was in jail, so I decided to write. I was 23 turning 24 he wished me happy 24th bday. I had just started my house arrrest sentence in May 2010. I had sent out my first letter because Karen Civil was running his twitter with the address to his cell. dwayne acknowledges me in letter number nine online via twitter. I wrote to him that it was lonely statement the sentence on twitter acknowledging me. He sends me sad face post card verifying my address. I wrote back to post card, I sent him letters that I would number, I didn’t want him to be sad in there so I would vent about my life. I would send 5-7 pages numbered so he wouldn’t lose his direction. I’m here venting to my favorite musician. Somebody pretend to be Wayne on Facebook, so I sent him the printout of the conversations. In the conversation post post card, included all the questions I asked the fake Wayne. He was upset that someone was pretending to be him. I vented how hard it is to be him because people only want him for his artistry. I felt that I related because when I noticed the friendships in my personal life people didn’t want to be genuine to me if they can’t benefit. I also made joked towards him about the interview of “this is my cup”. We had an inside joke because I complimented his dreads.
I also explain my feelings toward Eminem release of Stan. I made it clear that he shouldn’t be insulting his stans, he wouldn’t be where he was if it wasn’t for stans. I started signing off my letters as your stan, but not as serious. I pointed I wouldn’t suicide because he’s human like everyone else. The time this was all happening was 2010.
I would send each envelope with tinkerbell sticker on the corner so he would know the difference. My nickname use to be lil tink, I had many accessories. I have tattoo when I was 17 years old on my lower back. Hint the logo matches today but with treble clefts as wings. Lol
I didn’t read the book until seven years after it’s release. I had already moved to Orlando.
I was living in atl when I decided to download the book but read it on a plane. I didn’t know that there was going to be a whole chapter dedicated to me and the person pretending to be him. He named the chapter “people play too much” I had to stand up from my seat in the plane because the page counting matched “dear anne”. I also told him I would write him a poem; he was sent to lockdown where he couldn’t receive letters anymore.
I even wrote to my bff on the plane of feeling shocked at the time finding out that I was written about and published. I activated my texts so I can vent.
I vented to Dwayne that I was Cuban Russian in the letters. When dear Anne came out featuring the Russian’s singers Tatu, I started hearing and it was like the written letter he was supposed to send back. I’m hearing my jokes throughout lyrics that I said about groupies, but nobody believed me at that time. I was like these are my words but I had no way to prove it, you know when you write something and somebody rewords it.
I will be breaking down the entire intellectual property and I why I turned myself into a self-made atty because of this case. I was naïve to the stolen property. I started working in the music industry for myself, I started learning the law I wanted to master.
I will be explaining each step that Eminem could have taken up to the point where Dwayne admits he doesn’t own the copyrights. I also researched the lyrics while in the office In Orlando.
I want to make this a teaching experience on all the steps Eminem could have taken had it been published. This me explaining how I proved a case, it wasn’t published per Eminem denial. It’s just leaked. I have been bringing attention to the lyrics, I don’t think it’s fair that my weakness was taken advantage of. The song is Russian, which is my second language. It’s the language my mother speaks because she was a part of the Soviet Union so the language is native.
I also brought this attention to publicist, they ridiculed me and acted like I wasn’t telling the truth. I am proving this; I wrote a song well it was inspired by breaking my letters into pieces and then page numbering the verses with the composer would be Dwayne. We see the page number that caught his eye because he states that I knew him. He mentions the count in his chapter dedication and verses are numbered.
I’m turning this into a series of all intellectual property actions would be explained if Eminem takes legal action. It also lets me explain the truth behind the creation of these lyrics. I will pro you to the point on intellectual property that his letter/lyrics responding me would be broken down as well. So get ready to solve this case with me by learning all details to show you that I wasn’t crazy the whole time.
This is how you explain your feelings about stans in writing and get turn into a real life stan/anne by Russian lyric expression with your own words by the “doesn’t own copyrights composer”.
